How do I fish as a non-boat owner? 

• Do not wait until the last minute to request a "back seat" for the next tournament.
   

• Boat owners welcome "back seat" fishermen but are reluctant to change plans after they are set and sometimes they just do not know if they can fish until the last minute. Other club members fish with family members some or most of the time.
   

• If you know someone you wish to fish with contact them and make arrangements.  If you are not sure about who to fish with proceed to the next step.
   

•  Used the "I need a ride" link to let all club members who own boats know you are looking for a ride.
   

• When someone calls or emails and invites you to fish with him

  • Ask what he expects you to provide.  (Food, Drinks, Life Jacket, etc)

  • Reach an agreement on how expenses (gas, lodging, etc) will be split

  • Discuss where will you meet the boat owner on the day of the tournament.
     

• After you have agreed to fish with someone then use this "I now have a Ride" link to let other boat owners know you now have a ride.
